VISA SECTION:
OPENING HOURS: Visa applications can be accepted in the Visa Section only after an appointment has been made for this purpose and only at the following times:
Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
VISITING HOURS: to e.g. collect a submitted passport or to submit additional documents are:
Monday to Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

For inquiries about visa matters you can call the Visa Section from Monday to Thursday from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. NOTICE: Kindly note that the Embassy cannot give information regarding the progress of a visa application on the telephone, as the identity of the caller cannot be confirmed by the visa section. If you have specific questions about a pending application, you may send us an email and request for an appointment when the competent officer might call you and discuss your concerns over the phone.

Our GENERAL VISITING HOURS are Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 am to 9.30 am only. You can reach us by telephone Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 3.30pm and Fridays from 7.30am to 1.30pm.
Please note that an appointment is necessary for passport applications and civil status matters. For questions on these matters, we are available by telephone daily between 2.00pm and 3.00 pm.
Please also note the different visiting hours of the visa office!
Beyond these office hours and for emergencies only, a consular officer of the Embassy can be reached by telephone at 0063 917 867 3000 until 12mn.
NOTICE: Please note that information on visa matters cannot and will not be given by the Embassy's emergency duty officer.

The Honorary Consul Cebu offers the following services:
1. Consular Certifications, e. g.
- Certificate of no impediment to marriage in the Philippines based on the German Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage
- of the German driver's license (for registration at the LTO)
- for the application of a German Certificate of Good Conduct
- for pension matters
- for an Indigency Letter to be presented at the Bureau of Immigration
- of Urn Transport Permits / Corpse Transport Permits for the transfer of human remains to Germany
2. Certification of photocopies
3. Certification of signatures, e. g.
- Authorization to register for marriage in Germany
- Signatures on authorization letters and declarations of approval (Please send a scan of the documents in advance by e-mail for preliminary examination.)
- Applications for registration of birth / marriage abroad
- Declaration of consent (e. g. in passport and visa matters related to minors)
4. Assistance for German citizens in the consular district (e. g. assistance in death cases, consular assistance according to § 5 Consular Act, support of detainees in prison)
5. Issuance of travel permits in lieu of passport (RAP) to return to Germany, acceptance of applications for temporary passports (Note: Applications for biometric passports can only be handed in at the Embassy in Manila.)
6. Consultation, e. g. in legal matters regarding family law (e. g. maintenace), social insurance law (pension), administrative law, consular assistance
The Honorary Consul recommends to set up an appointment for the following: Certification of signatures, consular assistance cases, consultations, passport matters.
The Honorary Consul does not have jurisdiction in visa matters, so he does not provide information on this topic.
